How do you....

A lot of stuff has been happening and this idea has been put on hold until now. Well there is something else on my mind, but that is for a rainy day.

I was wondering, how in the world do people come up with street names? Okay I can understand Mustard street, because that is where the French's plant used to be, but there are some strange streets out there.

here's proof!

A little middle sex anyone!

What is Middlesex...Ooops I hope it isn't anyone's last name. Seriously though I'm just trying to picture it. It's puzzling.

Is a person having sex in the middle of something? Is it when someone calls you on the phone when your in the middle of having sex (happen to me once)? Are you in between two beautiful women getting your groove on? (Although it would be bad if they were big girls, how would you breathe?) By the way, don't kill me, I love me some BBW (Big Beautiful Women). I feel bad for all those kids who snuck a girlfriend, or a boyfriend into there house, and got caught in the middle of having sex. In any case I want to live on this street, because its definitely a conversation piece, and I bet everyone gets there groove on more on this street than any other street.

Then as I am walking by this street I was thinking, "what if my nephew approaches me and asks me what sex is"? "Ahem, I dunno, "I'm just a kid", go ask your mother or father". I can't wait for that one!

Okay, I'm curious! What is the weirdest street name that you have seen?

C'mon tell me! In fact show me, that picture was taken on a camera phone, so most of you cell-phone users don't have an excuse. LOL

Hmmm none of our street names are very imaginative here. It goes by trees, presidents and states. I always found that some cities have strange names. I know there's one that's called Intercourse. I always thought that was a strange name.

Middlesex is also a county in London (its now only an historic one since boundary changes but everyone calls it that), it has places North of the Thames in it, like St Johns Wood, Swiss cottage and all. Over here streets tend to be grouped when developments are built, named after flowers, or whatever. There is also a place called Three Mile Bottom. How'd ya like that fine ass???? lol

Actually, there is a Dildo, Newfoundland.. LOL.. I sware.. Look it up.. they even have a captain dildo...

LMFAO

When I was little, my littler brother called my mom a dildo head instead of dodohead... LMFAO my parents BOTH died laughing.. and because they were laughing so hard my brother and I thought it was ok and funny and KEPT saying it, till they said, you have to not say that, it is not a good word. So the next day I asked Dana to ask her mom, cause her mom answers ALL our questions.. LOL She brought out a book and showed us gals.. so, needless to say, I NEVER said that again.. Well, (till I grew up and partaked in adult store shopping) LMFAO @ ME TMI TMI

Jeff and Chelle's answers had me dying. Too damn funny!

I can't think of any funny street names right now, but probably 10 minutes from now, they will be flooding through my head. Don't you hate when that happens?

(1) Middlesex is short for Middle Essex. Essex is a shire of England. A lot of towns and counties in the US are named after the Essex's.

Essex simply means, 'home of the Saxons.'

In Dayton, OH, there was this street that was constantly under construction. Most of the time, there was no pavement, and everytime that you would get a fresh coat of asphalt, the city would just dig it up again.

The name of this street? Needmore Rd.

Around here, they name stuff after the things that they cut down or blew up to get the housing development built.

"Oak Tree Lane"
"Peach Orchard Road"
